Abstract

Risk involved in introduction of seed-transmitted viruses of soybean in South Asia is described. Of the 24 seed-transmitted viruses reported in soybean, 17 are not known to occur in the region. Quarantine regulatory measures will help in preventing the introduction of these viruses in South Asian region.
