Ameliorative efficacy of Bio-Bantox in experimental ochratoxicosis in broilers

Addition of Bio-Bantox dipolar phyllosilicate, a toxin binder, along with Ochratoxin -A in the diet of broiler birds improved clinical symptoms and checked mortality in birds as compared with those in OTA administered birds. Also, there was marked improvement in gross and microscopic pathological changes in different organs suggesting considerable ameliorating effects, as the lesions were comparatively milder and minimal. However, complete amelioration could not be observed.
