A case of leiomyosarcoma of spleen in an 8-year-old male spitz dog with widespread metastasis in abdominal cavity and liver was recorded. The animal also had perineal hernia, an unlikely outcome, associated with this tumour. The clinical, radiographic, ultrasonographic, gross and histopathological features of the tumour have been described.
