Of 2266 lymph nodes collected, only 247 (10.90%) lymph nodes were found to be abnormal. Various pathological changes in the mesenteric, bronchial, mediastinal and prescapular were 120 (12.90%), 37 (10.78%), 38 (10.16%) and 52 (8.38%) respectively. The incidence of enlarged and edematous lymph nodes was high, followed by haemorrhagic and/or hyperemic, parasitic lymphadenitis and pigmented lymph nodes. Various gross and microscopic lesions in lymph nodes encountered had been described and discussed.
