Primary tracheal neoplasms are rare in domestic animals. A multilobular, grey white tracheal mass was surgically excised from a 5 yr old dog suffering from dyspnoea and coughing. Histological examination of the tissue revealed features suggestive of primary tracheal adenocarcinoma.
