Abstract

Pan-hysterectory was performed in a year old non-descript bitch with the history of vomition, polydipsia, polyurea with scanty purulent blood tinged vaginal discharge. Grossly, uterine wall was found thick with miliary grayish white nodules in both the ovaries. Microscopic examination revealed multi branched papillary projections with hyperchromatic nuclei. The uterine mucosa showed cystic endometrial hyperplasia and papillary projections along with proliferation of endometrial glands. Based on the gross and microscopic examinations the condition was diagnosed as uterine adenomyosis and ovarian adenocarcinoma.
