Abstract

The biopsy from a large size growth on the left lower jaw of a twelve-year-old Hallikar bullock revealed marked epidermal hyperplasia, epidermal down-growths extending deep into the dermis and presence of extensive sheets of proliferating squamous cells separated with shreds of connective tissue, besides chronic inflammatory change and suppuration in certain areas. The overall picture was that of squamous cell carcinoma.
