A seven and half year old Jersey cross-bred cow under treatment for haematuria with progressive anaemia died after five months. On necropsy, a cauliflower-like pedunculated tumour mass was observed in the inner wall of the urinary bladder. Histopathological studies showed masses of growth that consisted of low cuboidal cells arranged in a stratified fashion appearing either as solid masses or as small collections surrounded by connective tissue strands. Overall picture revealed the tumour as that of papillary transitional cell carcinoma. No metastasis of the carcinoma was observed in any of the vital organs.
