Abstract

Cadmium (Cd) is a heavy metal, occurring naturally in soil and water. The present study was under taken to find out the changes in blood and serum profiles in Kadaknath chicks following cadmium chloride intoxication. The results indicated that even low levels of cadmium chloride in Kadaknath chicks can cause damages in liver and kidneys leading to liberation of enzymes.
