Multiple abscesses of variable sizes were recorded in the liver of a male Sahiwal calf aged about 1 month. The abscesses were small, round and coalescing and 1–2 cm in diameter. On incision released thick creamy coloured purulent material. Histopathological examination of the abscess revealed liquefactive necrosis and heavy infiltration of neutrophils resulting in atrophy of liver parenchyma.
