Clinical evaluation of canine mammary tumour cases presented at Small Animal Clinics, GADVASU, Ludhiana between April 2005 to May 2006 was done and a total of 37 cases were included in the present study. Out of which, 31 cases were surgically excised. Histopathology of all the cases was carried out and 64.52 % were found malignant neoplasms, 22.57 % benign neoplasms and 12.9% non neoplastic inflammatory conditions. Amongst the malignant tumours mixed mammary tumours were the most common tumour, whereas, lipoma was most common among the benign tumours.
