A carcass of 5 years old German shepherd dog which had the history of intermittent haematuria and frequent urination was presented. On necropsy, a tumour mass was noticed in urinary bladder and histopathologically it was diagnosed as transitional cell carcinoma. The stagnation of urine in kidney caused by the tumourous bladder had resulted in hydronephrosis. Histopathological observations revealed dilatation of tubules with flattening of lining epithelium and interstitial fibrosis.
