Four cases of papillary endometrial hyperplasia in New Zealand White rabbits out of 400 (1%) have been reported. These rabbits were about 6–7 months old utilised in different toxicity studies during last 3 years. Grossly, the uterus and its associated structures including ovaries as well as other visceral organs did not show any pathological lesion of significance except increased uterine weight in two rabbits. Microscopically, the uterine lesions in all the four rabbits were comparable. The lesions were characterised by extensive papillary projection of endometrial lining epithelium resting on fibrovascular connective tissue core giving florid appearance occluding the uterine lumen.
