Abstract

Eight and half years old female Boxer dog with history of outgrowth on left side of thoracic cavity was presented for necropsy in the department and revealed a dark red coloured bunch of cystic tumorous masses and similar small sized multifocal lesions disseminated all over the lung parenchyma. Microscopically, the tumor was diagnosed as hemangiosarcoma with multifocal micrometastatic foci in liver. It suggests the invasive nature of hemangiosarcoma primarily located in lungs.
