Abstract

A case of Marek's Disease (MD) in male duck was recorded. Grossly, dark brown and enlarged liver with multiple white foci on the surface, splenomegaly and congestion of lungs were reported. Histologically, diffuse infiltration of heterogenous populations of cells erythroblastic origin along with lymphoid cells in liver, spleen, kidney, lungs and heart were characteristic findings. MDV genome was detected by the qPCR.
