An adult rock dove was brought from Gimar forest area with a solid growth on the muco-cutaneous junction of the right lower eyelid for diagnosis and treatment. A histologic examination of the surgically excised mass revealed concentric layers of keratin formed pearls, multifocal infiltrates of lymphocytes, plasma cells and scattered heterophils around. The connective tissue stroma was plentiful with numerous thin blood vessels. Cells have hyaline eosinophilic cytoplasm and exhibit progressive keratohyalinization towards central keratin pearls in few areas. Mitoses were numerous in some areas. The growth was diagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma.
