Inflammatory myofibroblastic growth (inflammatory pseudotumour) is a rare entity, primarilybelieved to involve lungs, later considered to be seen in wide range of organs. This report describes a case of inflammatory psuedotumour of nasal cavity in a cow. Grossly, the neoplasm appeared as an elongated, partially soft, yellowish to tan gelatinous moistened growth lying radially along the nasal mucosal surface withocclusion of nasal passage. Histologically, mixed areas of stellate to spindle shaped myofibroblastic cells with inflammatory cells and variable content of myxoid stroma was evident that stainedweakly for Alcian blue was present. Immuno- histochemically, the tumour cells stained positive for Vimentin, Alpha Smooth muscle actin (a-SMA) and very weakly to S-100, Calretinin and Desmin. Based onvarious tests such as gross, microscopic and immuno-histochemical detection, the case was diagnosed as inflammatory myofibroblastictumor (inflammatory pseudotumour) of the nasal cavity.
