Abstract

A seven year old male Spitz dog was presented for treatment with the history of dysuria for the past one week. Clinical examination revealed firm mass in the caudal abdomen and bilateral cryptorchid. Ultrasonography showed prostate hyperplasia and enlarged left testis resembling tumour. Histologically, the testicular tumour composed of neoplastic germ cells (seminoma cells) and sex cord stromal cells (sertoli cells). They were arranged in tubular structure. Based on the gross and histopathological features, the case was diagnosed as mixed germ cell and sex cord stromal tumour.
