Uterus from adult cow was collected during post-mortem examination in the Department of Veterinary Pathology, Tirupati. Gross examination revealed small discrete grayish white raised areas over the perimetrial surface. Histopathologically, small to large papillary projections were observed diffusely throughout the serosal surface. The subepithelial surface of the serosa revealed diffuse fibrous tissue proliferation with fibrocyte infiltration. Further upon immunohistochemistry, the cells lining the papillary projections stained positive with cytokeratin. Based on gross, histopathology and immunohistochemistry the present case was diagnosed as Peritoneal epitheloid mesothelioma.
