Ovaries were collected from an adult cow which was presented for postmortem examination in the Department of Veterinary Pathology, Tirupati. No prominent gross lesion was found. On cytological examination, a few cells with mild anaplastic features and tigroid background were found. Histopathologically, islands of cells separated by thin connective septa were found. AgNOR staining revealed prominent nucleolar regions. Immunohistochemical evaluation with vimentin revealed strong positivity. Cytology, histopathology, AgNOR and immunohistochemistry supported the present case as dysgerminoma of ovary.
