An adult female guinea pig was presented for necropsy examination with the history of nodular growth near to the mammary gland. FNAC examination revealed the presence of glandular epithelial cells exhibiting mild degree of pleomorphism with moderate hyperchromasia. The histological examination revealed increased granularity, mild pleomorphism and hyperchromatic changes in epithelial cells. The cystic structures were evident in the mammary gland tissue with single or double layered flattened epithelial lining. The immunohistochemical examination has shown the increased expression of nuclear marker Ki-67 indicating the proliferative activity of neoplastic cells. On the basis of cytological, histological and immunohistochemical studies the presented case was confirmed to be died of cystic fibroma of mammary gland.
