Abstract

Infectious bursal disease virus recovered from vaccinated flocks namely, Hoshiarpur isolate from Punjab and Hisar isolate from Hisar, Haryana were studied for their pathogenicity in chicken embryo fibroblast (CEF) cell culture, chick embryos and experimentally inoculated broiler chicks. The Hisar isolate of IBDV was relatively more pathogenic based on these observations and additionally on the basis of lesion scores.
