A total of 46 diarrheic fecal and 31 environmental samples collected from poultry farms were investigated for the isolation and identification of E. coli and Salmonella. Microbiologically confirmed isolates (54 E. coli and 5 Salmonella) were further characterized for their in vitro antimicrobial resistance profile. Serotyping results showed occurrence of enterohemorrhagic E. coli O157 and Salmonella Dublin (9,12:g,p:-).
