Sera-diagnosis of porcine cysticercosis with different immunological tests such as AGPT, CCIEP and ELISA were conducted by taking purified fluid and membrane and scolex antigen of Cysticercus cellulosae with their homologus hyper immulle sera. Experimental infection with 1,00,000 viable eggs of Tania solium was given in pig orally. Sera from experimentally infected pigs were collected and tested with purified antigenic components. Antibody in serum of experimentally infected pig could be detected on 90th DPI with CCIEP and ELISA. Comparative study was done among the three tests to see the sensitivity and specificity of the test. ELISA was found to be highly sensitive and 100% specific in comparison to AGPT and CCIEP, which was 75% specific in serodiagtlosis of experimental porcine cysticercosis. Moreover, purified fluid antigens were found to be more immunogenic than the membrane and scolex antigen.
