One hundred two (102) serum samples were collected of 4–12 months buffaloes from the Buffalo Farms, Ahwaz and suburb in Khuzestan province to detect antibodies against parainfluenza type 3 virus (PI3) were tested by sero-neutralization test (SNT). 72 samples (70.58%) were positive to antibodies to PI3. Our results showed that despite of the absence of PI3 vaccination in Ahwaz buffalo calves, the PI3 antibody titers were considerable in the serum samples.
