The effect of non-genetic factors on milk production of Phule Triveni synthetic cows was evaluated. Data on 194 Phule Triveni synthetic cows maintained at Research Cum Development Project on Cattle, over a period of 1991–2008 (18 years) were analyzed to determine the effects of period of calving, season of calving, parity, age at first calving group and pre-peak period on milk production traits. The overall least-squares mean of lactation milk yield, 300 days milk yield, lactation length and persistency were 3424.12 ± 103.86 kg, 3005.66 ± 80.04 kg, 389.72 ± 8.14 days and 11.00 ± 0.71, respectively. All sources of variation were significant except age at first calving group for lactation milk yield, 300DMY and persistency; season of calving for 300 days milk yield and parity on persistency. However, all sources of variation were non-significant except pre-peak period for lactation length.
