Abstract

The study reports on expression of disease resistant traits genes (FUT1, HAL) expression in indigenous pig along with crossbred and Hampshire breed. The results suggested most of the samples (124) screened were susceptible to piglet diarrhea caused by E.coli but free from porcine stress syndrome.
