Pancreatic acinar cells carcinoma in a female non-descript cat

Abstract

The external examination of carcass of four year old female non-descript dead cat with history of ascites, anorexia, respiratory distress, dullness showed paler mucous membranes and approximately 650 ml of straw coloured fluid in the abdominal cavity. Microscopic examination of section of pancreatic tissue showed large sheets of poorly differentiated neoplastic cells with enlarged vesiculate nuclei and prominent nucleoli as pancreatic acinar cell carcinoma.
