Treatment efficacy of HimROP®Plus vet liquid in post calved dairy cows

The study evaluated in vivo efficacy of polyherbal formulation HimROP®Plus Vet Liquid in post calved complications in dairy cattle. Twenty selected post calved dairy cows with a history of retention of placenta (ROP) and other postpartum complications were drenched with HimROP® Plus Vet Liquid (250 mL) twice daily for 2 consecutive days. Following the administration of HimROP® Plus Vet Liquid, the mean time taken for uterine discharge expulsion (lochia), placenta expulsion, uterus involution, and estrus come back time was 83 h, 34 h, 31 days, and 46 days, respectively. In addition, following the administration of HimROP® Plus Vet Liquid (250 mL) twice daily for 2 consecutive days to the postcalved dairy cows caused a significant increase (p<0.001) in milk yield. HimROP® Plus Vet Liquid has advantages over amelioration of retained placenta through its ecbolic and promotion of uterine secretion activities.
