Aspergillus was the most prominent fungal isolates in feed samples. The genera Aspergillus had the highest frequency of isolation (60%) followed by Mucor (7.5%) Candida (5.2%), Rhizopus (18%), Trichosporon (5.3%) and Penicillium (3.2%) Occurrence of fungi showed that feed and litter samples from poultry farms possess high fungal load.
