Experimentally created cranial and caudal abdominal wall defects were successfully repaired in six dogs each with myofacialflaps Clinical, gross, histopathological and fluorescein examinations demonstrated that myofascial flap had a reliable neurovascular pedicle and wide range of mobility and could survive in face of infection.
