Abstract

Ultrasonography was used to determine the size and to characterize the prostatic parenchyma in 17healthy dogs and to diagnose prostatic disease in six clinical cases. Transabdominal sonography presented a very safe, satisfactory and realistic image of the anatomical and pathological status of the canine prostate.
