Non-selective renal angiographic (aortographic) studies were carried out in 60 dogs with different renal affections viz., Hydronephrosis, renal ischaemia, chemical nephrosis and pyelonephritis or with normal kidneys using urografin (76%) through transfemoral approach. Aortography demonstrated good mtrarenal branching m normal dogs, thinningandsplayingolleftrenalarteryin hydronephrotickidney, spares crowed appearance in kidney with renal ischaemia, good mtrarenal branches m chemical nephrosis and distraction of mtrarenal vessels in pyelonephritis.
