Ultrasonogrpahic evaluation of uterus was carried out in 20 female dogs presented for the diagnosis and treatment of uterine disease. Pyometra, endometritis, foetal death and resorption and remnants of mummified foetus were the conditions that could be diagnosed. Ultrasonography was found to be sensitive, accurate and quick diagnostic imaging tool for evaluating the canine uterus under clinical conditions.
