Abstract

A 10-year-old, male, nondescript dog was presented with a history of incoordination of gait. The rectal temp, hematological and biochemical parameters were within the normal range. It was decided to subject the animal to MRI. Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the head showed lobular lesions in the nasal passage and sinuses of the left side of the skull. The lesion was pressing on the stem of the brain and was considered responsible for the incoordination of gait. Nasal washings subjected to cytological examination revealed it to be ethamoid tumour. Vincrystine 0.025 mg/kg was given at weekly intervals for three weeks. However, there was no improvement in the condition of the animal and the dog was euthanized subsequently at owner's request.
