Six healthy bitches presented for elective ovariohysterectomy were subjected to laparoscopic method of ovariohysterectomy. Mean surgical time taken was 50.00±6.83 min. Significant increase in serum cortisol and blood glucose level was noticed during and immediately after operation. No significant change in C-Reative protein level was noticed during post-operative period.
