A one and a half year old female Labrador retriever dog was presented with the primary complaints of periorbital itching, watery discharge in addition to alopecia around the left eye for the past 6 months. General ophthalmic examination revealed entropion in the upper eyelid and the ectropion at the middle of the lower eyelid, which collectively resulted in diamond eye appearance. Skin scrapping examination was negative for fungal infection and the ocular swab was free from microorganisms. Under diazepam-thiopental general anesthesia, it was corrected by Wyman lateral canthoplasty. Two canthal based orbicularis oculi muscle pedicles, one from the upper eyelid and one from the lower, were raised and sutured to the zygomatic periosteum with 4–5 simple interrupted sutures using 4–0 polyamide suture material. The sutures were removed on 10th day postoperatively and there was fruitful outcome.
