Salphingectomy was evaluated in six bitches and its long term effects were evaluated based on conception, breeding and behaviour psuedo-cycosis. This technique was found useful when compared to traditional ovariohystrectomy as it was less time consuming, economical, required smaller incision and less postoperative care.
