Six cases of worm in anterior chamber of eye in equines were presented during the year 2006. Clinical examination revealed diffused corneal opacity and partial loss of vision. Movement of the worm (Setaria sp.) was not distinct in 4 cases. Flurbiprofen instillation (q.i.d.) rendered visualization of worm with naked eye. Under xylazine-ketamine-diazepam anaesthesia and retrobulbar nerve block with animal secured in lateral recumbency and head in elevated position, worm was removed with a clear corneal incision, 2–3 mm above limbus using BP blade No. 11. Refilling of anterior chamber was done with viscoelastic gel. Incision was sutured with silk 8–0 using interrupted pattern in four cases.
