Abstract

Different methods were employed while lifting the animal by mechanical support, like 1. by rope, 2. two rigid wooden rods, 3. pully and wheel chain support and 4. new approach for liftingthe animal with the help of two bullock carts. All these methods have been regularly using as per condition, situation and convenience. All these mechanical methods require man power. Even though weight factor of animal is more important such as light weight animal can be able to make stand by rope applying method, but sometime the animal gets frightened by over crowding of lifting persons. While applying the two rigid rods on ventral side of abdominal cavity, we can able to make the animal stand but it also requires partly animal's support. By this method we cannot hold animal standing for prolonged period. Persons who are giving mechanical support cannot maintain uniformly holding of all wooden rods. By applying pully along with wheel chain for lifting animal can make the animal stand for prolonged period than other methods but these equipments not easily available. In such conditions the new approach for lifting the recumbent animal with the help of two bullock carts is very easy procedure and convenient and require less man power to lift the animal for prolonged time.
