Abstract

Three bullocks were presented with history of reddish growth in the eye. Clinical examination revealed single cauliflower like growth at corneoscleral junction in one bullock and at lower conjunctiva in another bullock. The third bullock had numerous small growths at corneal border and also on third eyelid. Auriculopalpebral and supraorbital nerve blocks were done. The protruding mass was excised and the base was cauterised using silver nitrate crystals. The eye was flushed with normal saline during cauterisation. Gentamicin combined with Dexamethasone was injected into the conjunctiva for five days. The cases were followed for four months. Slight regrowth was noticed in the first bullock. Histopathology of excised tissue revealed squamous cell carcinoma.
