An adult non-descript she buffalo was presented with an extensive growth involving lower jaw and gum for the past five months. Clinically the growth appeared hard in consistency, noncapsulated, pink in colour with loosened incisors. The animal had difficulty in prehension and mastication. The animal was tranquilized with triflupromazine and bilateral mental nerve block was achieved with 2% lignocaine hydrochloride. The site was prepared for aseptic surgery. The entire growth was excised including the loose teeth. The growth weighed 3.8 kg and measured 20 x 8 x 12 cm in size. The animal made uneventful recovery.
