Successful repair of large metatarsal complete fractureby intramedullary horn peg fixation in a bullock

A five and a half year old Khillar bullock was presented to Mini Polyclinic in Indapur. Bullock was showing lameness in left hind leg. Detailed clinical examination revealed a complete fracture of left hind leg with proximal end of fracture fragment protruding out. Successful intramedullary horn peg fixation was done by open method. The bullock showed wonderful recovery and complete weight bearing after three months and was put to work without any problem.
