The present communication reports the use of fine needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) of lymph node in diagnosing metastasis in three canine mammary neoplasm (CMN) affected bitches. In two cases FNAB was obtained from superficial inguinal lymph nodes and in one case from axillary lymph node. The results of fine-needle aspiration cytology of tumour and lymph nodes, and histopathology of tumour were compared. The results showed 100% sensitivity of FNAB in diagnosis of metastasis of CMN in regional lymph nodes.
