The study was conducted to compare and evaluate the laparoscopic methods of endostapling (group A) and endoloop suturing (group B) for performing ovariohysterectomy in female dogs. There were no significant variations observed in physiological, haematological and biochemical parameters. Surgical time required for group B was significantly higher as compared to group A. There were no surgical complications in any of the dogs of group A, whereas slippage of knot was noticed in one dog of group B. Postoperative recovery and healing were similar in both groups.
