The study was conducted on 21 clinical cases of dogs for various abdominal disorders, which included ultrasound guided biopsy (USGB) in 12 cases of liver and 9 cases of kidneys. The accuracy of the technique in liver was 91.66%. The accuracy of the technique was 88.88% in cases of kidneys. It was concluded that USGS with biopsy gun using free hand technique was an easy, safe and accurate technique for obtaining sufficient and good quality tissue for histopathological diagnosis in cases of hepatic and renal affections in dogs.
