In the present study, different clinico-physiological and biochemical effects of isoflurane and sevoflurane anaesthesia were studied in healthy female dogs (n=6 each) undergoing ovariohysterectomy. The results showed minimal and transiant adverse effects of the anaesthetics on different physiological and biochemical parameters.
