Abstract

A clinical study on laparoscopic electro-coagulation and endostapling techniques for ovariohysterectomy was carried out in 12 healthy female dogs. Physiological and haematobiochemical parameters were studied. Bipolar electrocautery and large medium size titanium endostaples provided adequate haemostasis. There were no intra and postoperative complications. Minimal wound scar was noticed on 7>th postoperative day.
