Present study was conducted in 24 clinical cases of upward fixation of patella in bovines comprising 12 buffaloes, 6 cows and 6 bullocks. These animals were randomly divided into four equal groups for evaluation of different surgical techniques of medial patellar desmotomy. It was concluded that closed method is better compared to open method and for closed methods, standing restraining is more suitable for docile animals, and when the number of assistants are less.
