The clinicophysiological, haematobiochemical parameters were evaluated in 24 dogs undergoing different laparoscopic procedures under propofol and halothane anaesthesia (n=12 each). The results showed only minimal and transient alterations in different physiological parameters, suggesting that propofol or halothane anaesthesia is safe in dogs undergoing laparoscopic procedures.
